I have never seen my photography as a form of art;
it has always been my excuse to escape the problems of the world, and this is probably what pushed me towards analog photography, a much slower and more manual process than what digital offers us;
it forces you to stop and reflect on the smallest details, which in a fast-paced society like ours is very difficult.
For me, photography is like a faithful friend, who follows me wherever I go, but that I will never fully understand, which is why I decided not to let myself be seen clearly in this triptych, I am only the means that this friend of mine uses to show herself to the world.
So in my self-portraits, I decided that the photograph itself would be the artist and the protagonist, this explains the reason for the pose that was not exposed in the foreground, the empty film, my friend, showing itself in all its beauty.

Non ho mai visto la mia fotografia come una forma d’arte;
è sempre stata la mia scusa per scappare dai problemi del mondo, ed è probabilmente questo che mi ha spinto verso la fotografia analogica, un processo molto più lento e manuale rispetto a ciò che ci offre il digitale;
ti costringe a fermarti e riflettere sui più piccoli particolari, cosa che in una società frenetica come la nostra risulta assai difficoltoso.
Per me la fotografia è come un’amica fedele, che mi segue ovunque vada, ma che non conoscerò mai a pieno, per questo ho deciso di non farmi vedere chiaramente in questo trittico, io sono solo il mezzo che questa mia amica utilizza per mostrarsi al mondo.
Dunque nei miei autoritratti ho deciso che la fotografia stessa sarebbe stata l’artista e la protagonista, ecco spiegato il motivo della posa non esposta in primo piano, la pellicola vuota, la mia amica, che si mostra in tutta la sua bellezza.
